Stand Out In The Crowd With Red Hair Color

There are many shades of red hair color. While some are blessed with the recessive gene that makes them a natural red head, many others find their style of red hair in a bottle. It does not matter if you choose strawberry blond or auburn, crimson or copper, you will find so many beautiful reds that you may have difficulty in discovering the right one for you. The following suggestions may help as you choose.

Almost anyone is able to choose a shade of red that looks stunning on him or her. Sometimes, the color looks very natural, but at other times, it does not. If you are going for a look that does not appear naturally, such as a red-red or a blue-red color, of course that color will not look natural, but it can still be flattering.

If you want the most natural looking reds, then choose a red-orange combination. Those red hair colors come in everything from a pale golden strawberry blond to a very deep red orange.

When you go to the salon, it is a good idea to take a photograph of the color you want. Shades of color are difficult to describe, but a photograph leaves no doubt.

One key to looking good in whatever shade of red you choose is to adjust your makeup to match. The lipstick is the most critical change you may need to make. Talk with your stylist about the changes that should be made to accompany the color you are choosing. Some colors will require more of a change in makeup than others require, so be sure you are willing to make that change before you commit to a hair color.

Red hair color fades faster than any other color treatment you will use on your hair. The molecules of the dye are the largest of any color that is used. The key to keeping that great color with which you walk out of the salon is choosing the correct shampoo and conditioner. Again, you stylist can recommend the best shampoo and conditioner to keep that lovely shade.
